Notice: If you purchase items from our 2nd Gear USA Race Track Fashions collections it could take up to 30 days or more for your items to arrive at your location.

How Long Will It Take To Get My Motorcycle or Kart?

If you select a large item like a Motorcycle or a Kart, engine etc. 2nd Gear USA will contact you to negotiate a shipping method.

No you can purchase items at the checkout as a guest.

How Can I Cancel Or Change My Order?

Yes, you can!

After placing your order you will receive an order confirmation via email. Each order starts 24 to 48 hours after your order is placed. Within 72 hours of you placing your order, you will receive an expected delivery date. When the order ships, you will receive another email with the tracking number and a link to track the order online with the carrier.

Can I return an item?

If your New Gear arrives and it is not right, we will fix it,

Doesn't fit or just not happy with it?

You can return any new, unused and unaltered item within 30 days of delivery of your item. We will issue a full refund to your original payment method.

What happens if an item is Defective?

Each manufacturer has its own warranty policy. 2nd Gear USA will assist customers with their warranty; however 2nd Gear USA does not provide any direct warranty on any item sold.

Damaged Gear at time of Delivery!

Let us know ASAP if any items on your order arrive damaged. Please keep all original shipping containers and take pictures if possible. Damaged item claims are handled through the shipping carrier (UPS, FedEx, USPS,).

We will assist our customers in these claims. We only ask that customers be patient as sometimes this process can take longer than any of us would like!

When will you charge my credit card?

When you place an order, an authorization is put on your card for the amount of your order. Your credit card will be charged within 24-48 hours after your order is placed (depending on your banking institution) or when your items ship, whichever comes first.

Does your store take a percentage?

If your store takes a percentage, why should I sell my quality used gear through you rather than selling on my own through Craigslist or other methods?

Our consignment fee percentages are very competitive, Consignors receive 50% of an item’s selling price if receiving cash and 60% of an item’s selling price if receiving store credit, 2nd Gear USA’s percentage of the sale keeps our shop open and goes towards paying staff, the marketing, and the merchandising that helps to sell your gear. As an established business, We make it easy for you to find a large audience for your items. Our customers will be browsing your gear, saving you the time and hassle of trying to negotiate a deal yourself. Many of our regular consignors are sellers who have become frustrated with the time-consuming back and forth of online sales. In short, we make it easy for you to find a large market for your items.

Do you ever offer cash for items on the spot?

Sometimes, but only normally No, it would have to be something of interest to us. If you are looking for same day money for your items, you are better off at a pawn shop or another establishment. Selling your gear on consignment will typically take longer than an upfront sale, but you’ll usually receive more money for your items by consigning them instead of selling for cash on the spot.

What is consignment and how does it work?

When you consign your gear with 2nd Gear USA, you turn over your items to us to sell on your behalf. As the consignor, you retain ownership of your items until we sell them. When you are selling your items with 2nd Gear USA for the first time, we will set up an account for you. We examine your gear, determine which pieces we can sell, and establish the selling price. After the items have sold, we mail a check to you for your percentage of the sale, or credit your account towards in-store purchases.

Can I mail my gear or clothing to you for consignment?

Typically we do not accept consignment through the mail. We encourage you to come visit us and bring your gear with you! We can mail you a check once the items sell so that you don't have to come back to get paid. If you are a dealer representative of a motorcycle or kart company or have items that are in exceptional condition or overstocks, we may make an exception and allow you to send your items to us through the mail or other freight service. Please call us at 480-818-3038 if you are interested in this.

Do I need to make an appointment to consign my gear?

No. Just visit us during our store hours (Mon-Sat 9am-6pm Sun 10am-5pm). We do ask that you arrive at least 60 minutes before we close and be sure to leave enough time for our Gear Pro's to look through your items. We recommend calling ahead to be sure we'll be able to accept your gear, especially if you haven't consigned with us before.
